While each situation is unique, many of Cambria's acquisition opportunities require that we provide a new chief executive for example, where we would be acquiring a company from an owner-manager who is seeking to retire. In other cases, a strong general manager may be in place or, in fact, may have brought the transaction to us and be seeking a financial partner but the company could also benefit substantially from the addition of a functional manager in a critical discipline. With these needs in mind, and being aware that access to sound management will be critical to our decisions and ability to pursue certain transactions, Cambria welcomes inquiries from individuals interested in such positions.
We also welcome contact from managers who have identified investment opportunities themselves and who seek a financial partner which can not only provide capital, but whose principals would play value-added roles as active shareholders and board members.
Generally, we expect interested managers will have strong educational backgrounds and work histories, and a clear interest in working in an entrepreneurial environment.
